CR Steel Coils

Prime cold rolled coils with consistent gauge across the full length — the reliable feedstock for slitting lines, tube mills, roll forming and high-speed stamping.

Overview

Prime Cold Rolled Coils, Ready to Run

MAK Steel supplies prime cold rolled steel coils (CR coils) in master and slit widths for processors, fabricators and manufacturers across Pakistan. Cold reduced from quality hot rolled coil, our CRC delivers a smooth surface, tight thickness control and uniform mechanical properties from the outer wrap to the core.

Consistent gauge along the full length is what makes a coil productive — it feeds cleanly through cut-to-length lines, slitters, tube mills and roll formers without constant re-setting, keeping scrap low and output high. That reliability is what our processing customers depend on.

Supplied to recognised international standards with defined grade, gauge, width and coil weight, our CR coils are ready to run — whether you are producing sheets, strips, tubes, profiles or coated products such as GI and PPGI.

Why the material performs

Key Features & Benefits

What sets MAK Steel cr sheets apart on the production floor.

Consistent gauge

Thickness held tight across the entire coil so downstream lines run without repeated adjustment.

Prime coil quality

Sourced as first-grade, prime material for clean, defect-free processing — not re-rolled seconds.

Smooth mill finish

Uniform cold rolled surface suited to visible parts, coating and painting.

Process-ready

Optimised for slitting, cut-to-length, tube milling, roll forming and stamping at speed.

Coating base

An ideal substrate for galvanising (GI) and colour coating (PPGI) lines.

Common Queries

Asked Questions And Trusted Answers

What is a CR coil used for?
A CR (cold rolled) coil is the flat-steel feedstock used by processors and manufacturers. It is slit, cut to length, roll formed, milled into tube, stamped, or coated (GI/PPGI). Its consistent gauge and smooth finish make it ideal for high-speed, high-volume processing.
They are the same material in different forms. A CR coil is a continuous rolled length wound into a coil, ideal for machine feeding; a CR sheet is that material cut into flat panels. Manufacturers with processing lines buy coil; fabricators often buy sheet.
MAK Steel supplies coils with 508 mm and 610 mm inner diameters in a range of weights, from light coils to full-weight master coils, made to order to suit your line. Share your requirement for exact availability.
Yes. We supply master coils or slit-to-width strip cut to match your tube mill, roll former or stamping line, which reduces waste and setup time on your side.
Yes. Cold rolled coil is the standard substrate for galvanising (GI) and pre-painted (PPGI) lines because of its clean surface and uniform gauge. Confirm the grade and finish you need when enquiring.
Yes. MAK Steel supplies both trial quantities and bulk tonnage for production. Provide your grade, gauge, width and monthly volume and we will quote accordingly.
